Canberra is booming with pop up foodie events and we are absolutely loving it! Back for a second year is The Commons Street Feast – a food truck festival where their motto is ‘gluttony never tasted so good’.
The Commons will bring over 20 of Australia’s most mouthwatering food trucks. Craft beer and wine bars, and a Pimms Garden that’ll be the envy of all your insta followers. There’ll also be a host of events, entertainment and installations to satisfy the whole family, and each individuals most gluttonous desires. Hmmm food, glorious food.
This is the more ‘mature’ sister of spilt milk with each food truck handpicked for the event to bring their own unique flavour, passion and style. A few outstanding things this year is that Gelato Messina will again be serving a custom dessert range exclusive to Canberra and Mary’s will be introducing their fried chicken for the first time served with their ‘get fat’ burgers. – the fried chicken and gelato combo is not to be missed peeps!
Some other food vendors include Hoy Pinoy, Pimp My Chimney and our local Graze Expectations and Soul Cartel. Plus, the butlers are back. You can hire a butler to grab you something from each truck and/or bar and meet you back at your picnic set up. Winning!!!
To quench your thirst there will be a Craft Beer Bar, A Pimms Bar and a Wine Bar… We like what you’re putting down Commons, a bar to suit everyone.
Located in Commonwealth Park, the festival will run from 30 November until 10 December 2017. Be there or be hungry!
See you there Canberra.
