Once upon a time, there was a Parisian living on the French Riviera, passionate about Australia, a sports journalist and a professor of journalism.
Travelling to the other end of the world – Canberra – Sophie meets Nancy, an English -Australian, passionate about the French language and intrigued by Sophie’s journalism course. Between Silas’ school pick -ups and Delphine’s midday naps (Nancy’s two children), the two women unite their respective passions to give birth to ‘Canberra en français’.
The first issue features some iconic Canberra businesses with French flare. Breizh Cafe at Ainslie Shops, Ainslie IGA and their infamous cheese section and many more. The magazine has a neat balance of content both in French and English. The creators have written the publication in such a way that every one can gain valuable information from no matter if you speak/read French and/or English.
We were lucky enough to be invited to the exclusive event last week at The Social Club.
