Home Decor Inspiration

I don’t know about you, but one of my favourite past times is spent scrolling through pictures of beautifully styled homes, whilst daydreaming about how perfectly particular pieces would compliment my dream home.

We have compiled a list of home inspo and tricks to make your space more swoon worthy without having to max the credit card.

A statement that is currently trending at the moment is splashes of greenery within the home. Our favourite way of incorporating this trend into any room is by featuring plants  in unique ways.

Enter Hanging plants – Not only is the plant itself a statement, but so it the hanger itself. You can source the pieces in a range of materials and colours, with my personal favourite being those hung by beautiful braded rope and metal pots.

Coloured Furniture

Another popular trend that we’ve fallen for is incorporating pops of colour within neutral toned spaces. A fun way of doing this is by experimenting with coloured couches or armchairs. We’re loving colours like blushes, mustards and deep forest green.

If you’re not quite ready to commit to a brightly coloured couch or armchair, we suggest incorporating this trend in the artwork within your desired room.

We’re are totally crushing on wooden furniture at the moment, especially light blonde tones. You don’t have to replace your flooring to incorporate this trend into your home; rather feature splashes into your home décor and furnishing.

You can pick up some beautiful pieces, reasonably priced. From side tables to chairs to dining tables, so take this trend and make it your own.

Light + Airy

There’s nothing better then entering a room that is clutter free and feels fresh. I think the best room to incorporate this trend into is the bedroom.

That feeling of snuggling into you clean cosy bed, especially in winter, can not be beaten. Light tones like greys; baby pink and even white can make it feel like you about to sleep on a cloud.

Nothing quite elevates the style of a bedroom then having fresh and trendy bedding. Neutral colours not only make the room feel light and airy, but also give you more freedom when styling the remainder of the room, limiting clashes and clutter.

We hope you’ve become even more inspired to decorate your home and take your home décor goals from dreams to reality!
