STEP 3 – PREPARING THE PALLET
Now you will need to get some landscaping fabric and cut it into large rectangle shapes that would roughly close off the bottoms of the pallet to create perfectly sized planting sections.
Once you have the landscaping fabric cut and fit to close off the bottoms of your desired sections, use a stapling gun the secure the fabric.
STEP 4 – SELECT YOUR HERBS
The fun part is selecting the herbs that you’ll be growing in your new vertical herb garden!
Go for herbs that you will frequently use in cooking like thyme, coriander, mint and basil.
STEP 5 – PLANTING

Use potting soil to fill in your crafted sections and plant your herbs.
STEP 6 – CHALK PAINT
An optional step that you can do to further spice up your vertical herb garden is to add a layer of chalkboard paint to the exterior of the pallet.
This will allow you to write the names of the various herbs across the pallet, adding a personal touch.
