Art, food & wine at Tallagandra Hill Winery

Upon arriving to Tallagandra Hill Winery, we were welcomed by the gorgeous new sculptures of empowerment and goddessism by artist Delene White.

Instantly when walking into the winery, we were welcomed by the gorgeous staff and smiles filled room. My we were lucky enough to sit by the crackling fire on a table filled with international and local artists.

The food….. That followed…. Had to be a highlight from the evening. Bella Jakubiak and her team gave the room a sample of everything from their new and wholesome menu. From bruschetta to start, a gorgeous pasta dish in the middle and a chocolate moose at the end to drool over.

The menu was thought out perfectly, and executed seamlessly to accompany the gorgeous wines from Tallagandra.

Before we left, we were able to have a chat with the owners of the estate, who told us that our favourite wine from the night “The Great Ron” was actually a tribute to their late father who passed away.

The event was an eclectic mix of soulful food, little art exercises and activities which made tables bond – And great banter where laughs from the room could be heard all the way back to Canberra!
