We live in a world where we want it ALL! And when it comes to cocktails there are no exceptions. Here is a list of our favourite cocktails that taste delicious and look so pretty, you’ll be having another just for the gram.
Honey Thyme Margherita
20ml lime juice
20ml grapefruit juice
15ml orange liqueur
15ml honey thyme syrup
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, orange liqueur, and syrup. Shake well until well chilled. Strain into a salt-rimmed serving glass.
Honey Thyme Syrup:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup liquid honey
Few sprigs fresh thyme
Add water, honey, and thyme to a heavy bottomed sauce pot. Bring to a simmer until honey has dissolved. Remove from heat and let thyme steep for 30 minutes. Strain out thyme. Transfer syrup to airtight container and keep at room temperature.
Elderflower Rose Vodka
30ml Hangar 1® Rosé Vodka
30ml freshly squeezed,
strained pink grapefruit juice
30ml dry sparkling rosé
15ml elderflower liqueur (more or less to taste)
A few drops of lemon juice, to taste
Thyme sprig or mint leaf for garnish
Combine Hangar 1 Rosé Vodka, grapefruit juice, sparkling rosé, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice in a stirring glass and add ice to fill halfway. Stir for 10 seconds, strain into a coupe glass, and serve.
Vanilla chai old fashioned
Chai Simple Syrup
4 chai tea bags
1/3 cup real maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium pot, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the chai tea bags, cover and steep 10-15 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add the maple. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil 3-5 minutes, then remove from the heat. Stir in the vanilla. Let cool. Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Chai Old Fashioned
1/4 cup bourbon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 dash orange bitters
2-4 tablespoons chai tea syrup
sparkling water, for topping
cinnamon and star anise, for serving (optional)
In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, lemon juice, orange bitters, and 2 tablespoons of the chai syrup. Shake to combine.
Strain into a glass. If desired top with sparkling water. Garnish with cinnamon and star anise.
Sparkling Limoncello Cocktail
1 shot (40ml) Limoncello
2 shots (80ml) sparkling lemon soda , Sanpellegrino if possible
1-2 ice cubes
1 sprig of mint for garnish (optional)
1-2 slices lemon for garnish (optional)
Add 1 shot of limoncello to a serving glass. Top with 2 shots of lemon soda and then top up with prosecco.
Add the ice cubes and garnishes, serve.
Blackberry lemon gin and tonic
20 mint leaves (Extra for garnish)
2 lemons (Extra for garnish)
1/4 cup simply syrup
160ml Hendrix Gin
Combine 3 blackberries, 5 mint leaves and juice from 1/2 of lemon and 1 tablespoon of simple syrup in each of your four cocktail glasses, preferably high ball glasses.
Muddle ingredients until combined and berries and fully crushed.
Fill each glass to the top with ice.
Add 40ml gin per glass and stir.
Top with tonic water and garnish with a slice of lemon, blackberry and mint leaves.
