Morning Rituals to start your day

It’s widely believed that the way you start your day defines how you’ll end the day. If you start angry or annoyed, it’ll have a knock-on effect throughout your entire day – in your job, your relationships, health and body etc. Making sure you take the time of a morning to start your day the right way is so important to ensure your mood isn’t impacting the quality of your life and emotions.

day better.
Meditate
Get up 5-10 minutes earlier than you normally would and allocate some time to meditation. Centre yourself and focus on your breathing – deep breaths from your diaphragm, not shallow ones from your chest – and think about the things in life that you’re grateful for.

Hydrate
After you wake up, make yourself a glass of lemon water – not only does it promote hydration, but it also helps to aid digestion and can help to support weight loss.

Exercise
Try to wake up earlier and allow yourself time for a 20-30min walk or jog in the morning or a quick workout. Getting your blood flowing in the morning will help wake you up and leave you feeling empowered to conquer your day.

Wake up and stretch out those muscles and get your circulation flowing with some yoga.
Morning yoga can help clear your mind and get your body ready for the day.

Make your bed
It sounds really simple, but making your bed as soon as you can means you’ve already
accomplished the first task of the day and it’s one less thing to worry about. There’s also
something great about coming home and seeing your bed all done up nicely.
