The July Edit

Well Canberra girls (and guys), this is it. The month where winter here really picks up, snow season begins and there’s literally nothing better than being wrapped in a blanket, with the heater on, eating a bowl of ice cream and watching netflix (are we right?).

While restrictions have eased, it’s no reason to get complacent. We can enjoy the fact that Canberra as a city is slowly reopening and finding a new sense of “normal”, but make sure you still comply with social distancing rules! Check out what’s going on both out and about and digitally in the Capital.

Move-In Car, Canberra Drive-In Cinema

You read that right! The classic concept of the drive-in cinema is gaining popularity again (thanks COVID!) with one landing right in the cultural heart of our city. Starting from 1 July and running through until 19 July, check out some old favourites and relatively new feature films from the socially-distanced comfort of your own car! Tune in through your car radio to hear the movie, and take advantage of the licensed bar and catering providing a range of pizza, snacks, wine, beers and soft drinks!
